Countdown to publication

The moment of calm between turning in the last of the edits and receiving the finished copy of a book is a blissful time, I’m telling you. I can’t wait to get NOW THAT I KNOW YOU BY HEART into the hands of my Early Reader Team (coming soooo soon). It’s slated for publication January 20th, and advanced reviews are coming in (aka ‘blurbs’). Here’s a sneak peek.

If you’re familiar with Tara Tai’s delicious, unapologetically alternative, slow-burn of a queer romance, you know what an honor it is to receive this praise.

I’m anxiously awaiting the box of NOW THAT I KNOW YOU BY HEART advanced copies that will arrive soon, and in the meantime, was able to meet my editor, the rest of the Lake Union team, including the amazing woman who always answers my frantic emails about…everything…the creative arts team (aka the people who design covers) and many fellow Lake Union authors on a perfect September day in the city. It was the shot in the arm I needed to get back to work on my WIP (work in progress).
